Bestyrelsen i abc Aalborg har den 2. april 2013 besluttet, at ændre en smule på den organisatoriske struktur i klubben. Det betyder at der pr. d.d. vil være en Sportschef samt én Cheftræner, der sammen udgør den sportslige ledelse i Badmintonklubben abc Aalborg.
Den sportslige ledelse skal tilsikre en klar, ensartet og stringent måde at styre og udvikle abc Aalborg på. Dette er afgørende for succes nu og på sigt, ligesom en klar opgavefordeling omkring alle trænings-og badmintonrelaterede elementer opnås. Sportschefen er det direkte talerør fra ”hallen” til bestyrelsen. Denne struktur skaber en høj grad af ”oplysning”, hvorved bestyrelsen vil få mulighed for at træffe rettidige og ”oplyste” beslutninger. Alle større beslutninger, såsom træningsplan for kommende sæson etc. SKAL godkendes af udvalg og/eller bestyrelse. Sportschef og Cheftræner har ikke tegningsret på vegne af Badmintonklubben abc Aalborg.

Såfremt der skal nye personer på posterne, vil dette være et anliggende for abc Aalborgs bestyrelse.
