Vanen tro blev årets klubmesterskaber for ungdomsspillerne i SSB afviklet den forgangne uge. Torsdag var der singleturnering med indledende kampe og, for nogle af årgangene også medaljefordeling, mens søndagen var afsat til de sidste finaler og ikke mindst den traditionelle doubleturnering, hvor spillerne blandes på tværs af årgange.
Dermed blev klubmesterskabet, som det skal være, en god blanding af konkurrencelyst og hygge mellem spillerne, hvor SSB-talenterne fik vist, hvorfor vi er en af de allerbedste ungdomsklubber i landet – både på og udenfor banerne.
Søndag var der samtidig sørget for kaffe/kagebord samt sandwichs til alle spillerne og deres forældre, så de kunne få stillet sulten mellem de mere end 150 kampe, der alt i alt blev afviklet, og dagen sluttede med en fælles præmieoverrækkelse.
Ikke mindst doubleturneringen var en fornøjelse at følge og et studie i, hvordan de unge SSB-spillere hurtigt fandt ud af at samarbejde på en måde, så de ældre spillere hjalp deres mindre rutinerede makkere med at løfte både spil og humør.
Klubmesterskaberne var for alle årgange – lige fra U7 og helt op til og med U17, og det var en fornøjelse at være tilskuere til den gode stemning og klubånd, der fyldte lige så meget, som jagten på medaljer. Og der skal lyde en stor tak til de mange frivillige hjælpere, der var med til at gøre klubmesterskaberne til en god og sjov oplevelse.
